Biography
Liza Perry is deputy director, serving as the liaison to elected officials, community partners and neighbors in Boston. She also manages communications for the GCR team university-wide.
Before joining the Government and Community Relations team in 2018, Liza worked in University Advancement at Tufts, where she managed the leadership annual fund gifts team and raised critical funds for university priorities including financial aid, research, and campus programs that support 1st generation students.
She began her career on Capitol Hill in the office of Senator Jeanne Shaheen (NH), the first woman in U.S. history to be elected both a Governor and a United States Senator.
A graduate of Wake Forest University, she earned an M.B.A. with a focus on social impact and nonprofit management from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
She is proudly raising her family in the City of Boston.
