Discover Davis

Discover Davis is a partnership between Tufts University and the Somerville Chamber of Commerce. The goal of this free event is to support locally owned small businesses in Somerville's Davis Square. Davis Square is known for its diverse and vibrant array of restaurants and shops.

This year, Discover Davis will be held on Sunday, September 3 from 12pm-5pm. First-year students will be transported from Tufts University's Medford/Somerville campus to Davis Square where they will have the opportunity to shop and dine at the local businesses and eateries.

In previous years, participating businesses have offered a special promotion to Tufts students, such as 10% off a purchase or Tufts-specific item. Every student that participates can fill out a survey after the event and be eligible for prizes, such as gift certificates to local Somerville businesses.
